Middle School Homeschool Class:
Water Wonders

Grades 6–8

Thursday, May 14 | 12:30–2:30 PM
Registration deadline: May 8

Middle school homeschool students will dive into the exploration of freshwater ecosystems and how to keep them clean. We’ll get out to the riverbank and collect data on the water quality, include chemical tests and a survey of the organisms we can find, both in the Columbia River and the museum’s biofilter pond. Our partners from Washington Department of Ecology will help us understand how water travels underground and what it means for the health of our rivers.

This session is designed for older learners who are ready to explore concepts with more depth, curiosity, and critical thinking.
